GEO is working with Terrain Studio (the landscape architect) in providing the hydraulic engineering design for over 20 hydraulic structures that will regulate base and flood flows in the new Xing Yuan Lake. The lake (5.2 km2) is being constructed to support a new town development (27.7 km2) that will host commercial, retail, residential, and tourism land use. The GEO team is using 1D and 3D hydraulic models to determine water elevations and operations requirements for water level management.
