Green Earth Operations (GEO) provided civil and landscape LID design for the Dihua Wastewater Treatment Plant in Taipei, Taiwan. This is our firm’s first LID demonstration project in Taiwan. We used a variety of LID tools (pervious pavement, bioswales, raingardens and raised planters) to treat and collect runoff. The stormwater was integrated into the landscape to act as irrigation but also help to replenish groundwater. The total area of this project is approximately 4500 m2. The LID systems have the capacity to collect and treat 10,800 tons of stormwater per year.
